Oodles of Zoodles

Hey who has lots of zucchini and loves to lower their carb intake?

ME! ME! ME!

Last year, when I began the journey of clean eating, I knew one thing that HAD TO GO - processed carbs!

They were EVERYWHERE in my diet!  

I decided that I needed to find ways to incorporate MORE veggies into my diet and LESS of the high-starch and high-carb choices.

Enter.....ZOODLES!!!

You already know my obsession and fool-proof way to fix spaghetti squash, right?

Anyway, back to ZOODLES!    I had always just cut my zucchini into slices and had poured butter and cheese on it and called it good.  Occasionally, I would just steam it and I found I loved zucchini but ZOODLES takes it to a whole new level!

First, I did purchase a Vegetti from the store and it is a great product!  You can spiral zucchini, carrots, potatoes, and other veggies with it.   I've tried several!    And it's so easy that my 7 year old even made zoodles for us!   He really enjoyed trying to see how long he could make the ZOODLES!

After you make the ZOODLES, steam them in the microwave for 5 minutes and then top with your favorite pasta sauce and freshly grated cheese.   

You can INCREASE your veggie intake and DECREASE your carb inake!
